In a waste-to-energy plant in the Netherlands, our 206+ blocks were in operation for a period of more than two years in the highly stressed grate zones 2 and 3. These areas are well known for their demanding thermal and mechanical conditions. In particular due to the enhanced throughput the plant operates on.

Throughout the entire operating period, our grate blocks showed exceptional stability: they continuously withstood high temperatures and highly abrasive influences while ensuring constant, reliable primary air supply at all times. The two most critical wear issues — clogging of the air channels caused by soft metals and general material abrasion — were largely reduced.
