Ralf Zander to become new CEO of EnergieLink

New energy at EnergieLink!

We are pleased to announce that Ralf Zander from Sachsen-Anhalt, will become the new CEO of EnergieLink. With Mr Zander, we are gaining an experienced CEO who will bring new energy to our company. He will take up his position on 1 October 2024.

After taking his school-leaving examinations, Ralf Zander completed vocational training as a machine and plant fitter at Förderanlagen Magdeburg. He then worked in sales for 15 years, where his skill in networking enabled him to successfully develop the industrial business areas.

In 2004, Ralf Zander switched to the power plant industry and joined the US company Babcock Wilcox, working in sales and consulting for boiler cleaning systems. He later expanded his expertise in conveyor technology at LOIBL. His international activities have taken him to the UK, South Korea, the US, Denmark and Australia.

Ralf Zander has been Managing Director of IEM Fördertechnik for the past nine years. During this time, he has successfully contributed to the diversification of the business model and developed special expertise in the reduction of mercury emissions and the decommissioning of nuclear power plants.

Commenting on his new role, Ralf Zander says: “My ambition is to further develop the company as a reliable, flexible provider and to drive healthy, profitable growth for EnergieLink. I want all employees to enjoy playing their part in EnergieLink’s success.”

In his private life, Ralf Zander is the father of two children aged 19 and 25. Football has always been a big part of his life – both as a team and board member and as a team captain, which further strengthened his leadership qualities. He is also a passionate golfer and loves dogs.

Ralf Zander is a very positive person who pursues his goals with ambition and determination.
